When two vectors are not at right angles, use a scale drawing to find the resultant.
Triangle method: link the vectors head-to-tail, then draw the resultant from the tail of the first to the head of the second.
Parallelogram method: link the vectors tail-to-tail, complete the parallelogram, and the diagonal is the resultant.
Measure the length of the resultant with a ruler and convert using the scale.
Measure the angle with a protractor.
